Cultivate Founder, Tom Romine, is always on the move, and as travel returns, his schedule is quickly filling up. Between assisting with on-site Event Gifting, meeting with brand partners, and engaging with industry professionals, Tom’s a busy guy and frequent flyer. So, we wanted to give you an inside look at what he carries with him for every business trip. From his favorite backpack to energizing must-haves, let’s unpack it all.

A great bag that goes the distance

This backpack from Victorinox takes Tom’s regular travel to the next level, engineered to keep his laptop and other essentials safe while he’s on the go. Seamlessly blending function and comfort, this bag features a zippered mesh pocket, key fob, pen holder, name tag, two accessory pockets, and an elastic USB device holder, as well as enhanced shoulder straps for maximum support. It’s safe to say this bag is Tom’s new favorite travel companion, keeping him organized and stylish from departure to arrival.

Effortless travel essentials

When it comes to travel, it’s essential to carry items specific to your comfort and well-being. With that, Tom never leaves his Burt’s Bees nourishing chapstick, Visine, or Kiehl’s hand salve behind. Each product is ideal for those flights that can be extra dry. And to really keep the hydration flowing, his Corkcicle canteen is always filled, except when going through security, of course.

And because we can all relate to tight flight schedules that leave gaps in between coffee breaks, Tom always carries Viter Energy caffeine mints to keep him energized throughout the day.

Mid-flight mix of business and pleasure

When you’re as busy as Tom, it’s important to be as productive as possible while traveling because business never sleeps. So he uses his noise-canceling headphones to cancel out potential noise while he answers emails. For longer flights that leave time for a bit of leisure, Tom travels with a Kindle that’s preloaded with the current book he’s reading, as well as the most recent issue of Fast Company magazine.

“I’m currently geeking out on golf by reading Dream Golf: The Making of Bandon Dunes in preparation for my maiden voyage this summer to one of the world’s most amazing golf destinations on the Oregon Coast.”
– Tom Romine

And finally, when he lands, Tom always has his trusty Cultivate padfolio for diligent note-taking, as well as business cards for any potential networking opportunities. Oh, and of course, the latest and greatest pair of sunglasses! Pictured here are a pair from our brand partners, Raen.
