My mother and father started growing oranges, tangerines, and grapefruit in beautiful Central Florida in the 1950s. Working with fresh citrus juices and cane sugar from the flora Everglades, they made a deliciously soft citrus candy. Today, we still make our candies the old-fashioned way. Our candies and marmalades are cooked in copper kettles one batch at a time. We use only the very finest ingredients; sun-ripened fruit and juices straight from the groves and pure cane sugar from the Everglades.
